Irkal — also written Ilkal, after the town in Karnataka the weave takes its name from. The temple border is the row of pointed arches running the length of the saree, the oldest motif in the weave.

Care: Dry clean only. Store wrapped in a soft cotton cloth, away from direct sunlight. Iron on low heat with a cloth over the zari.
