The whole saree
Six and a half yards, woven on a single warp so the colour runs true from one end to the other.
The pallu
The end that shows. It takes the longest to weave, and it is the reason the saree costs what it does.
The border
Zari along both edges, held by hand at every pass. The line staying even down the whole length is the weaver, not a machine.
The butta
The small motifs across the body. Each one is counted out thread by thread before it is woven.
