About Handloom Pure Silk Paithani Sarees
This is the heart of what Vidhate weaves: pure mulberry silk, woven by hand on a pit loom in Yeola. Both halves matter. The silk is why the saree drapes with weight and shifts colour as the light moves across it. The handloom is why the zari is interlocked into the weave rather than laid on top, so the border reads from the reverse as well and does not pull away from the body over the years.
Every saree here carries the Silk Mark, the Government of India hallmark for pure silk. A weaver working a double pallu with full zari can spend weeks on a single piece, and no two come off the loom quite alike.
Handloom in a lighter fabric sits in Cotton Paithani and Tissue Paithani.
